Noon-1pm - 2nd Floor Hoffner Stage

For this class, students should already know the Balboa Basic in Uphold and Downhold Rhythms, The Come Around, The Toss Out, and Lollies. Students should have general competence with dancing Balboa as well.

Noon-1pm - 3rd Floor Tango Palace

This class will assume students have experience dancing general 6 count patterns and have learned, but not necessarily mastered fundamental 8-count moves such as the Swing Out & Lindy Circle.

1:15-2:15pm - 2nd Floor Hoffner Stage

This class is for experienced dancers that have developed their skill with either/both leading or/and following Swing and Blues dance. Students should be interested in developing their skills and tools for both roles.

1:15-2:15pm - 3rd Floor Tango Palace

This class is open to all levels of dance experience. Dancer with no experience may be challenged slightly by the pace of the class, but everyone is willing to adjust their participation to their own wants and needs.

3-4pm - 2nd Floor Hoffner Stage
Charlie Fuller & Megan Archdeacon-Larkin

This class is for experienced dancers of any style that have fundamental exposure to Blues Dance. The two intentions are 1) to challenge everyone both technically and creatively and 2) create a common experience for the participants to share and later build upon.

3-4pm - 3rd Floor Tango Palace
Joel Domoe & Delaan Sumler

This class is a beginning level class that will teach the basics so anyone can learn to dance Zydeco. It will also feature some intermediate level content toward the end to challenge fast learners or dancers with some Zydeco experience.

4:15-5:15pm - 2nd Floor Hoffner Stage
Jay Sheaffer & Joel Domoe

For this class, students must be adept at dancing lindy hop socially, including/especially fundamental patterns such as The Swing Out, Lindy Circle, Side by Side Charleston and so on. It is helpful but not absolutely necessary to have some familiarity with Vernacular Jazz movement such as the steps used in the Shim Sham, Tranky Doo and other common routines.

4:15-5:15pm - 3rd Floor Tango Palace

This class will be a lightly accelerated beginning level class. It will be a good opportunity for new dancers to start dancing blues, newer dancers to strengthen their skills, and experienced dancer to explore their groove.
