Next SwouZy Blues is Sep 6, 2026 (Sun before LaborDay)
The Worldwide Lindy Hop Community (and other adjacent and/or related dance communities) is HUGE! There are so many events, people and online resources that generating an exhaustive list of them all would be... well, exhausting.
So this page is a living document that we will continually update and edit as best we can, which will be a very low bar because if we have our choice between actually dancing and editing a web page, well...
At the present time, we are promoting the Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, Charleston, Vernacular Jazz and closely related dance communities plus events/things that crossover to those communities in a beneficial way. We reserve the right to change our minds, but we currently are not (with the possible exception of Cincinnati content) providing links for many dance communities that are really great such as West Coast Swing, Carolina Shag, Tango, Ballroom, Salsa/Latin, etc. We simply are not a good enough resource to be valuable for those communities and it also would be too much work for us to try and be one.
If you would like to request that we add a link to this page (or other resource pages on this website), hit us up on the Contact Us page. Helping us out a bit with some details and simple copy/paste content will expediate the processing of your request.
Peace, Love and Lindy Hop!

        SwouZy Blues Event (Thrice Yearly)
We have recently made the decision to prioritize promoting actual independent websites and pages over social media (facebook, instagram, etc) sites and links. We do use social media to promote our events. It is useful for that. However the nature of social media resources are such that they have their own (very strong, sometimes overwhelming) agenda that is not always healthy for what we are trying to do in building and strengthening our dance community.
Individuals and organizations that have made a serious investment in/commitment to the health of their community are going to have their own website that is going to provide the best information and support for that purpose.
Additionally when we support, promote and use the independent resources (websites, etc) that commited, efficient and dedicated organizers take the time to thoughtfully create, we are actually empowering them to do their work at a lower time and energy cost to the people doing the heavy work. When it costs less for the luminaries to shine, they can shine brighter and longer!
If you are organizing and doing so only through social media, please consider if/when it might be time to fully commit by creating a central website (or maybe even just a linktree?) that can be easily used and shared. If/when you do, we would love to support you!
